Building on its years of experience, Agfa now introduces the Structurix NDT S-i film processor. The NDT S-i film processor form the basis of a NEW Structurix High Capacity Film System that boasts a revolutionary design that takes X-ray film processing to the next level.

The Structurix NDT S-i is a leading-edge processor that brings speed, operational flexibility, money-saving innovations, and environmentally friendly design together in a single package.

Agfa is an industry leader in processors that use a leading edge "Cascade-Fixing" system. Featuring a double-fixing tank, the Structurix NDT S-i generates improved results, yet requires few resources to achieve those results.

Comprised of Optimized Film, New Chemistry, and a New Processor, the New High Capacity Film System extracts the maximum in economic and ecological benefits by delivering:

• Higher processing "throughput" (on the order of 20 percent)
• Significant reduction in both the developer replenishment rate and fixer replenishment rate?resulting in an overall 20 to 40 percent cut in the consumption of processor chemicals
• Introduction of a new hardener?free developer called Structurix ecoDEV that ensures optimum sensitometric results, yet operates with fewer parts
• Optimized archiving results
• Less handling of the products

Announcing a Universal Solution from AGFA
The New NDT-U Processor
To provide our customers with enhanced flexibility from a more focused product line, Agfa is introducing the NDT U "Universal" Processor. This integrated design combines the features of existing NDT processors with a range of impressive new features, so the NDT U can replace the following processor types: NDT E (standard), NDT E/RF (roll film),  NDT E/OS (off shore)

The NDT U will be available in both standard and off-shore versions, with the only difference being the length of the developer rack. The off-shore version uses a longer developer rack for optimal film transport and image quality. Customers who wish to do both applications can order both developer racks.

The feeder for the NDT U has the same features as current NDT feeders, but is designed specifically for the new universal processor. the feed table is easily removed and the feeder mounts quickly in its place, quickly and simply, with no adapter needed.

The film feeder system handles up to 240 films per hour in film sizes from 2.4 to 17 inches wide and 4.7 to 18.9 inches long. Switch the feeder on and film loading is reliable, continuous, and fully automatic. Sheet film magazines are available in two configurations: Universal style and, for greater operator flexibility, Fliptop style.

By combining simple operation, easy maintenance and rugged reliability in a "universal" design, the Agfa NDT U sets a new standard for flexibility in processing industrial X-ray films.
